Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds, cancellations, and unused balances are assessed under the terms agreed in each Cenova Build project proposal.
Prepared 29 October 2026
Review draft: confirm the business details and actual data-handling practices before using this policy on a live website.
Project-specific terms apply
Refund and cancellation terms are agreed in each project proposal or other accepted written agreement. They may differ for a website build, app, marketing retainer, brand project, or automation workflow.
This website policy does not introduce a blanket no-refund rule, fixed cancellation charge, non-refundable deposit, or mandatory notice period.
How to request a cancellation or review
Email cenovabuild@gmail.com with the project or invoice reference, the service involved, the date you want to cancel, and the reason for the request. Explain any concerns about the agreed deliverables and attach relevant correspondence. Do not include card details or passwords.
Ask for written confirmation of the request and the agreed next steps. Any effective cancellation date and outstanding responsibilities should be recorded under the project agreement.
Before work starts
A request made before work begins should be reviewed against the accepted proposal, payments received, and any specifically agreed commitments or costs. This page does not set an automatic administrative deduction.
If the proposal does not address the situation, discuss the relevant facts and agree a written resolution subject to applicable law.
After work has started
Review the work delivered, work in progress, approvals, payments, and any unused amounts against the project agreement. The scope of any refund, credit, outstanding payment, or handover must follow those agreed terms and applicable law.
Raising a concern does not, by itself, mean that every payment is forfeited or that every payment must be refunded.
Ongoing support and marketing services
The proposal should state the service period, renewal arrangements, cancellation notice if any, prepaid work or hours, and how unused amounts are treated. Do not assume the same rules apply to a one-off build and an ongoing retainer.
Any plan to pause campaigns, stop subscriptions, transfer access, or complete a handover should be documented so that the responsible account owner can act appropriately.
Advertising budgets and third-party charges
Advertising platforms, domain registrars, hosting providers, app stores, and software or API vendors may apply their own billing and refund rules. Clarify who holds the account and who received each payment.
Whether an unused third-party balance can be recovered depends on the relevant provider and the project agreement. This page does not promise refunds from another company or declare every external charge non-refundable.
Concerns about deliverables
Describe the specific difference between the agreed scope and what was delivered. A review may lead to an agreed correction, clarification, change request, credit, or refund, depending on the proposal and the circumstances.
Any remedy, amount, timing, payment method, deductions, or remaining obligations should be confirmed in writing. No unconfirmed processing deadline or satisfaction guarantee is created by this page.
Rights and contact
Nothing in this draft is intended to prevent lawful consumer remedies or legitimate payment-dispute rights. If a request cannot be resolved directly, the appropriate next step depends on the agreement and applicable law.
